Stim meds in FET protocol?

Hi ladies,
I'm starting FET #1.2 with a new protocol. Fet #1 was cancelled due to mucus in the uterine cavity and thin lining. Vaginal estrogen, Viagra suppositories, vitamin e, trental, and Neupogen infusions only got me to about a 7-7.5. Once we added PIO it was 6.4. So this time, we are basically doing a stim cycle. Dexamethasone, 15 low dose HCG, 75 Follistim, Viagra. HCG trigger will come later. Possibly neupogen if we decide to cough up the $900 for another round. I'm having trouble committing to that when it didn't seem to do squat last time. Anyway, my question is this: has anyone done a protocol like this before? How long did the protocol take from start of stim meds to transfer? How were the stim meds at the lower dose? One of the reasons we were down for the FET was that friends of ours had success with it and really felt that it was so much easier on the body and that's why they were successful. Any thoughts are welcome!

1/28/14 ER # 1 and 2 (yes, that's two ERs in one cycle...long story) 14R, 14M, 12F, 5 made it to blast for CCS biopsy
2/25/14 CCS results in: three healthy frosties!!
4/10/14 FET cancelled due to mucus and lining. Different med protocol for FET 1.2
5/2/14 Transfer of one CCS'd and completely hatched 6 day blast
5/11/14 BFP!!! First Beta 99 5/13/14 Second Beta 170

October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
April 2015: FET #2.1

I hope you don't mind me chiming in - but I've also heard of this and at my old clinic, we tried follistim for my last FET, but that didn't work. So, we left our two frosties and went to another clinic (wasn't happy with the old clinic's answers to my thin lining) and did a fresh IVF (my lining was the thickest at ER). Also, this last transfer, my lining did not get over a 7 and all three embryos implanted (only one is viable). So, it is possible with lining under a 7

IUI#1 (natural): BFN; IUI#2 (clomid): BFN; IUI#3 (clomid and follistim): BFN.
IVF #1 March 2013, freeze all (OHSS).
FET#1 June: BFN
FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3). Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial. FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.
*New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.
IVF #2: ER 3/4/14 ET 3/7/14, transferred 3, 3 day 9 cell perfect embryos. No frosties.

First ultrasound on 4/3/14 showed 3 sacs: one empty and two with beating hearts!! At 7w2d, found out that one baby did not have a heartbeat anymore. Praying that baby B makes it. Baby B is a girl!
