What's going on w/ DS?

The last couple nights my what used to be really good sleeper, has been waking up at 4am crying hysterically! He doesn't seem to need anything. I just comfort him and he goes back to sleep. He is 19mo. Any ideas what it could be??

Night Terrors!  Paige went through this about a month or so ago.  She was doing it during nap though.  She would stand up and scream hysterically like she was in deep pain or scared to death!  THANKFULLY she grew out of them.  I never did talk to the pedi about them and I don't know how she grew out of it but it was disturbing for about a month!

I just saw this. My ds is 19 months and has been going through the same thing. But he's been screaming before bed too. We're not sure what it is...his eye teeth are coming in, he's had a cold...who knows. But it seems to be letting up. It's been going on about a week, but yesterday he went to sleep on his own, thank gosh! I did buy him a toddler pillow and that seems to help too.
