Mason has his 1 year appt next week and they want to give him 4 shots one in each limb!!! Did anyone break the 1 year shots up???? I'm not sure what to do. I cry just thinking about how upset he is going to be with getting that many at once. I got a lot of mixed opinions about separating them.
It sucks because the secretary said he will get one in each arm and leg. I absoluty hate hearing him cry like that. :-( I wish I could get them then breast feed so how gets them. Lol
She did fine with the 3 shots. It was the finger prick blood draw that was bad. I felt like they took so much blood. Thank god my husband was there to hold her. I almost cried.
Hmmm. Our pedi office doesn't do shots in the arm until they're much older. They just don't have enough fat there. DD1 even had her 5 years shots in her legs. Anyway, DD3 had 3 shots. One was mmrv. I don't remember the other two. She had 2 in 1 leg and 1 in the other.

PS Warner had 3 and was pissed but stopped crying as soon as I picked him up. I think the anticipation for MOMS is actually worse than the shots for baby!

We got three today...MMR, varicella, and his last prevnar, and the blood draw (from the arm) for the lead and hemoglobin testing. We get three more shots at 15 months and then none at the 18 month visit.
I was glad to get the MMR now because there have been measles outbreaks in my state.
