DD1 is Elizabeth. We sometimes call her Lilla, because when she was smaller that was all she could make of Elizabeth. I don't know if it's a nn that will last a lifetime, and only DH and I use it.
If baby #3 is a girl, I really like Lydia, but wonder if Lydia and Lilla are too similar sounding if Lilla happens to stick as a nn.
We could always drop Lilla as a nn, but I quite like that it's a nn that just developed naturally. There are so many nn options with Elizabeth, and we always said we wouldn't pick one, that as she grew and made friends she would naturally develop her own.
Thoughts?

Re: Is Lydia too close to Lilla?
I love Lydia a lot. It's been on my list for years.
However, then you'd have an Elizabeth, Jane, and Lydia. Even if you didn't get it from a book, they're pretty linked names, so I'd be prepared for everyone to think you really love Jane Austen. (but it is a great sibset, so great minds think alike)
