  • My sister is having a dd so she got all of my dd's clothes. If not my local consignment shop has a great program and I would have went that route.

  • "Swap shops" are really popular on Facebook around here. Similar to Craigslist only smaller towns like mine can have their own site. I haven't sold any baby clothes though, I'm saving them for now!

  • First option: garage/yard sale (I bought the stuff, I'd like the majority of the proceeds)

Second: consignment store (this gives me the next biggest profit)

Third: give to a friend (but I don't have any friends currently pregnant or TTC)

    Fourth: donate to local charity

    Fifth: garbage

...I may sound greedy, but honestly, think about the money spent and how short the period of time that LOs use/wear the stuff...

  • Everyone I know is having babies. I gave all my boys NB clothes to 3 of my friends. We put our initials in the tags so we get them back (if I was done having kids I wouldn't have asked for them back and just gave them to my friends).

  • I currently have the stash of baby girl clothes that are making the rounds through my family so I am keeping nearly everything. I know that my cousin is going to start TTC in a few months so if she has a girl all of this stuff will head back to her house. (Her youngest is 2, the clothes have also gone through my niece who is 6 months old now.) we have each added to the hoard so it is ridiculous how many girl clothes we have...the first person to have a boy is screwed! They are in clothes at this age for such a short time that most of what I have still looks brand new. I also have a tub of maternity clothes, we're all pretty close to the same size.

If I weren't saving clothes for the next of us to get KU, I would probably be selling some to a resale shop and donating some to local shelters/Goodwill.
