My MIL told me tonight that she purchased the Ubbi diaper pail for us. I had never heard of the Ubbi so I looked it up and was wondering if anyone had ever used it or if they could rec a pail liner that they found to work nicely with the Ubbi?
I have one and love it. We use the Ubbi pail liner that goes with it. I have a planet wise pail liner as well, but it's still unopened. Get two liners so you have one to use while the other is being washed.
I'm no help. I use a spare trash can that we have and a pail liner. Make sure to leave the pail liner open and that the pail gets plenty of air. Otherwise it will smell.
Do the pail liners have sizes? I ordered from Amazon, and there wasn't a size option. Planet Wise wet bags come in sizes, but I think the pail liner might be a standard size, and will fit the Ubbi.

Omg I can't brain today. I was thinking wet bags instead of liners. Derp
Actually planetwise just came out with a smaller pail liner (5 gallon) for small bathroom trash cans. A typical pail liner is for a kitchen size trash can or pail at 13 gallons.
@freezorburn, I am thinking the same thing. The only thing I can see is if you use disposable diapers, because the metal is supposed to contain the stink. And it said plastic containers eventually absorb the stink. But cloth diapers you don't want to be closed shut, so I don't get the love for this pail either. Like I said, my $5 kitchen trash can with a liner is working just fine.
I think it is just a preference thing. I like the look of a pail over a trash can. But also, it has a lock on it, which keep my autistic kiddo out of the dirty diapers. It contains stink really well. It is small and trim and fits well into a nursery. It isn't sealed the way you imagine. But yes even with cloth I've found that eventually plastic bins do absorb some stink. This just doesn't.

You don't have any problems with the ubbi pail? We need to find something that our lovely dogs won't be able to get in, and I think this may solve our problem. How long have you been using it if you don't mind me asking? I know everyone says that the pail needs to be able to breath, and we haven't started CDing yet, but I don't want to spend a ton on something that won't work for CDing in the long run. Thanks in advance.

No problems. I let it breathe by leaving the slider open an inch off and on..so like every other change. You dog will not be able to get into it if my autistic 4 year old hasn't figured it out.
