I just have to say this is the second time I've tried to take part in "The Bump Community Forum" and both times I've been treated like an idiot. For the second time, I'm done with the judgmental cold-hearted behavior. You all seem to have too much time on your hands to actually educate yourselves. You just regurgitate the same crap the last batch of members did.

And wow op. I was expecting some knock down drama in your posting history but all I see are a couple of people telling you about vegetarian protein options. Not even any snark. FWIW.... Means for what its worth. Used non confrontational: FWIW I don't like chicken. Personally, this pregnancy my baby is a carnivore with a strong preference for beef. So I don't have any awesome suggestions.

You asked a question. People answered with honest and helpful answers.

I don't think you meant to use the word rude, as nobody was rude to you. But, the bump might not be the best place for you if you view helpful responses as rude. There are a couple of other websites that might be more to your liking where you can find a pregnancy community. Try babygaga.com.

None of them appear to have commented on your meat-free thread though so your original post up there is a little mean and unnecessary.  The responses were all pretty well-behaved and helpful and  I'm hurt, as I commented on there, so in retaliation - I take back my helpful suggestion and replace it with something generically angry.

ETA: I remember that thread and just went back to read it. People were SO nice and she was really nice and polite too. I'm kind of shocked that she thinks people are vicious bitches. Interesting.

I don't mean on my thread, there were some very helpful responses to my shower questions (some of which were stupid questions, I'm sure) and people were really good about answering me (so thankyou).

I mean from other threads in general, some of the responses seem unnecessarily harsh. If it's just because I'm new and unaware that these people are asking really stupid questions that have already been answered elsewhere then I'll happily retract that first statement.

It was a fairly silly question but the responses were actually really polite on that particular thread.
