DH and I are really struggling with naming our little boy.

I keep getting "set" on his first name and then I decide I dont want it, then I go back to it. The name is Fisher.

Our other choices, that DH doesnt like AS much our Holden and Sawyer.

I think my biggest hesitation with Fisher is the middle name. Our last name starts with an M, so am trying to stay away from A or E middle name.

Names we've considered: (I think I want it to be one or three syllables since first and last name are two syllables)

Fisher William

Fisher Anthony

Fisher Colt

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    I like William Anthony a lot. Holden William would be my 2nd choice. I really dislike Fisher, Colt and Sawyer. Sorry.

    Not a huge fan of Fisher. I like Sawyer, Holden, and Anthony. I also wanted to suggest Sullivan.

    William Anthony or Anthony William get my vote. Fisher is my least favorite, followed closely by sawyer

    William is a beautiful, strong name. With all the names ending with -en (jaden, caden, brayden, holden...etc) these days, you might have the only Will in class. My own son has a seemingly popular name like William, widely given to boys in my generation...but guess what: he's the only one in his grade of 120 kids!

    Oh, and Fisher is a last name...not even close to being "a last name given as a first name". Sorry, not a fan at all.

    I prefer both Holden and Sawyer to Fisher. Where I grew up, fishers were nasty, weasel-type animals that were notorious for killing cats and other small animals that live in cages outside, like chickens or rabbits.

    Fishers are mean, ugly, terrifying animals. I like Holden the best of your other names.

    I personally don't really like the first name Fisher. Out of your other options I rather like Sawyer the most, though the decision is obviously yours to make.

    Yeah I don't care for Fisher at all. I like Holden and Sawyer better. William is a great name, definitely my choice for the mn.

    My little boys name is Fisher Graham! It fits him perfectly! I have never heard of an animal called a fisher...
