Where do you put your LO's Easter basket? I know some people hide eggs all over, but if you have a basket for your LO where does the bunny leave it? Same place every year? How does the bunny get into your house?
We hide the eggs and the basket. We haven't thought through how the bunny gets inside. I like @BunkinMama 's magic rabbit hole idea, in case she asks.
living room. The first thing they see when they come down the stairs. If we don't pick our own baskets, the bunny will leave one, and then eggs are hidden all over the house.
How the bunny got in has never been asked, But we do put the dogs in our room so he doesn't scare the easter bunny (in reality, he will eat all the eggs that he can reach)
I'm tempted to make bunny footprints out of construction paper from our sliding door to the deck to the basket. Sadly, I packed the Easter basket. Think I can use a random container?
When I was a kid we always made"nests" out of towels the night before for the Easter bunny to fill. I don't have many memories of what the Easter bunny brought us growing up, but I do remember the anticipation of making the nests with my brother every year.
I went out to thw store to grab a few things today and ended up grabbing a shitload of little things and some plastic eggs to make up DS's Easter basket.
My mom always hid our baskets in somewhere in the house (I.e. bathtub). I feel like DS is still too little to care about it.
Re: If Santa uses the chimney, what does the Easter bunny use?
The bunny just fills the basket we leave out.... in the middle of the living room.
That way I also don't have to worry about hiding the basket so she won't find it all year. It's just with all our holiday stuff in the basement.
We do a small Easter egg hunt for DD, but that's us, not the bunny.
He hides the baskets in different locations each year. The rabbit is running out of hiding spots in this house BTW.
