Hello,

I was just wanting to see if anyone has any of the same experience as me, 

I  have tried all of the little gender tests like baking soda, drano, bleach and red cabbage and all have said boy.

I KNOW that these aren't good enough to go paint a room over but i was doing them for fun, and so I can kind of put a little something in the baby book

What has everyone else tried?  

Also, do you think that having all boy results are pretty good odds or could they all be WRONG?  

I know there will be some people who don't like this thread so i am sorry in advance.

I think I have a pretty good chance since they all said the same gender, plus that is what my intuition says!

I did a ring on a string and it was freaky as hell. It wasn't the one you hang over your tummy or palm instead you rub it against the inside of your arm and then it reacts a certain way. It not only is supposed to tell you what you're having but what you have to date and... Excepting me (because we don't find out until Monday) it was accurate on the other people in the room. It follows my intuition and the majority of the guesses based on "how" I'm carrying but not my wishes lol. I'm not certain I believe it but it was unnerving.

I think you have a 50/50 chance and seriously who cares whether their accurate or not you have to do something to entertain yourself for the first 18 weeks, why not that?

lol very true, i really want a boy but this is more for the enjoyment and entertainment since i have been home for the last few weeks.  I did the ring over wrist thing too it had my first two daughters right for sure and then it said i was having a boy this time and then having another boy after that or something like that !! pretty freaky!

Put the piss and chemicals down. The odds are 50/50. Did you seriously just ask what the odds are for OWTs?

I tried a few of the OWTs for fun. They all said boy.

I'm having a girl. Confirmed by two u/s.

OP: I only did the Chinese gender calendars (on a couple different sites), they all said girl & even though I REALLY in my heart thought it was a boy & even dreamed months b4 that it was a boy, it's a girl! Also, this is my 4th & the low heart rate for boy & high heart rate for girl has rang true on every single one of my kids, although I do know several people who could tell you differently!

My last doppler put me firmly at 140 bpm, apparently my baby is right at the midrange for both! Sneaky lil thing!

I did the baking soda test and it said boy. Heartrate has been high = girl. That's all I did. Having a boy according to my a/s.

I did the chinese gender chart - tried a couple of different ones and only one said girl, the other few said boy. We're having a girl according to 17 and 28week ultrasounds. Tried the ring on a string and got both results which wasn't much fun.

It wasn't serious, just something to keep me entertained for a few minutes.

My Ma says whatever you dream, you have the opposite. I dreamed boy twice and she dreamed boy for me a couple of times. She was right with her predictions for me being a girl, my first child and for this baby. She was wrong for both my siblings (I dreamed boy for my sister though so there's something in it for our family at least). 

One of our baby shower games is to try out old wives tales just for fun, it's not a serious thing and it's interesting to see what traditions used to be years ago.

Did a couple for fun! Chinese Gender Calendar - Girl;  Baking Soda - Girl;  Heart Rate (155 bpm) - Borderline - Boy/Girl, Most Guess Over 140 bpm Girl; 20 wk A/S Scan - We have a Little Man on the way! So these didn't work for us, but fun for guessing

They are fun to do but that's all... just fun. FWIW, I did the baking soda test with my first pregnancy, result = girl -- I had 2 girls. I did it again with this one and results indicated girl again.. I don't know what I am having yet so I can't say anything yet. But my GF is 36 weeks pregnant with her son and she did it today just for fun. Her result said girl.

Every single OWT said girl last time and the same this time. I will find out what I'm having in less than 3 weeks (if squish cooperates).

I think she meant whatever sex you dream your baby will be but have a vet on standby just in case it IS a dog )

I had fun with a few OWT's. Chinese gender chart said boy and it was right. Everything else said girl and was obviously wrong. It really is a 50/50 chance.

@Gachimayaa I asked my Ma and she said that means boy.

*disclaimer* she's nuts so don't pick your nursery paint based on what she says!

Even though she's right about 80% of the time.

For my first pregnancy, I did the ring on a chain as well and it predicted boy.  Chinese gender prediction = Boy
I had a boy.
Now I have done both again and both indicate a girl.

Also, my pregnancy symptoms are drastically different from my first pregnancy.  Hair is falling out, skin is breaking out and dull.  Very nauseous every day and craving tons of sweets.  I am convinced (since day one) that it is a girl.
