1st Trimester

Nervous: Need advice

Today marks the beginning of my 10th week and I felt fabulous! I felt like me. On the flip side it made me nervous, like something was wrong because I feel ok. I know it's bad to think that, but this is our first baby and I'm nervous. Anybody else experience this? Any words of advice?

Re: Nervous: Need advice

  • It's actually the end of your 10th week. Your 11th week begins tomorrow.

    This is normal, don't worry!?

  • Don't worry another second!  Your symptoms come and go and it is totally normal.  Even well into your pregnancy, you'll have days where you feel like crap and days where you feel great.

Congrats and enjoy the "good" days :)

  • Read MamaAngelina's post below. Yes, it's absolutely normal, and to be expected!

I always thought that the symptoms subsided closer to the second tri, and that's exactly what happened with my first pregnancy. Feeling good at 9 weeks this time around took me by surprise!

    Enjoy!

  • I would just enjoy it... Maybe you're just one of the lucky ones who got over the craptastic feeling that 1st tri gives you. If you're really worried, however, it doesn't hurt to call the doctor.

  • Don't jinx it! Enjoy it!! :) I'm like you, though... symptoms make me nervous ... lack of symptoms sometimes make me more nervous. But it's totally normal!
  • It's about the time that your symptoms will sart to dissapear.

  • Enjoy it and save your worrying for when it's really needed. I'm coming off of three days of having red bleeding and things are still ok. You can worry for me if you'd like. :) Symptoms come and go. You'll be fine.

  • If you're like me, you'll be asking DH to pull over so that you can puke in a parking lot in a few weeks again! Enjoy your vacay!
