Hey all, I'm Zoe. I've been pregnant once before and had a miscarriage last summer. We waited a while before trying again, and here I am almost a year later, and I'm pregnant! Of course I was ecstatic when I found out a few weeks ago... especially because I found out on my birthday. 
But now the negativity is creeping up on me as my first appointment and ultrasound approaches. Tomorrow I'll be 7 weeks. We aren't really sure when we lost the baby last time, as we never got to see the fetal pole, so I'm reallyyyyy hoping that this ultrasound goes much better than that! I'll be 7w4d, so my fingers are crossed for a healthy little heartbeat this time!
My doctor also said last time around that she thinks I have a bicornuate uterus. So what did I do with that information? Probably the worst thing TO do, I googled it. Stupid Zoe, STUPID. Googling things like that never end well. So now I have it in my head that having a bicornuate uterus isn't so bad and doesn't generally cause miscarriages, but they can apparently be easily confused with a uterine septum... and THAT causes miscarriage. On the bright side (because I'm being positive here, remember?) if that's what it is, I should be able to get a very simple procedure to get that fixed.
I really need to stop googling everything.
