Trying to Get Pregnant

I see you quilt... I've been wanting to start but I always get nervous b/c I'm not that neat sewing... how'd you pick it up? any advice on where to start?

  • do some online research then jump right in.  You can't really screw things up that much.  Always have by your side a trust seam ripper and you can't go wrong.  It's not that hard I promise.  I won't say I'm the most experienced quilter but the more I do it the better I get.

  • I'm going to have another check in in an hour or so but just email me your email address to gpquilters@gmail.com and I'll be sending out instructions tomorrow morning after the check in.  You just make one, 2 or 5  how many you want 6.5 by 6.5 inch squares and mail them to the assembler.  We usually have a specific color for the quilt and then one person assembles it.  you don't have to assemble the quilt if you don't feel comfortable we usually have volunteers for that.
