3 or 5 day transfer

doctor told me i will have a 5 day transfer...what did you have? is one better then the other

I had 5 day. I think either is fine. I think more people probably do 5. I am not sure either is better or wrong or anything

Both of my transfers were 5 day.  Generally, if you have several well developing embryos to choose from, they'll do a 5 day.  That gives them a couple extra days to pick out the one(s) that have the best chance.  However, if you have less embryos to choose from, they will often do a 3 day transfer based on the thought that there's no reason to keep them outside of their natural environment any longer.
