Anyone use magnesium citrate? TMI again

My surgeon told me to use this today and if it doesn't work to use it again tomorrow morning.  I did get some relief on sunday evening but nothing since. I feel like I'm 3 months pregnant and can't even wear my jeans so I'm in yoga pants.  I'm going to stop my hydrocodone today.  This is a little ridiculous.

Milk of magnesia is the only thing that helped me.

I took it once when I was on some constipation-causing pain meds after having my wisdom teeth out - it worked.
