f/u about mri

I called the doc today after my original mri post and he wanted to me to come in and see him. He said that spinal headaches start 24 hrs after birth and usually only last 2-3 weeks. He said they sound like tension and sinus headaches. He also wants me to see the eye doc early next week. He put me on an antibiotic for my sinuses and a prescription strength aleve. We are cancelling the mri for now because he really doesn't think there is something wrong with my brain. He thinks it is stress and sinus induced. I am supposed to call him late next week and we will go from there....

Wow, I'm sorry. I can't believe he went from "let's do an MRI" to "go see the eye doctor." I'm glad he doesn't think it's too serious though, and I'm glad he gave you some meds. I hope they help you feel better.

i saw your OP. if you agree that it could be sinus and tension headaches, have you tried excedrine? I dont BF so I cant remember if that is on the ok to use list. But i get terrible sinus headaches. so bad they could be confused for migraines. Excedrine migraine and a coke work wonders for me.

You might want to also talk to your doctor about the foods you eat. Ask him about the migraine diet. There are foods that can cause headaches. Changing what i eat helped me as well.
