Nothing sticks...

We have a son named Abram and are due with number 2 in November. So far we have a pretty long list, but nothing is standing out. I realize we have a lot of time but Daddy will be away for most of the pregnancy and possibly the birth, so we are trying to rush the process a bit. With my son we just knew what his name would be by 20 weeks, this time around it's a little more tough. My husband is convinced it's a boy but we don't know the sex yet, so we need both boy and girl suggestions. We don't like anything very common or trendy. So far my husband's favorites are Bartholomew and Iris, and mine are Alan and Calla. Give it your best shot. I would be very grateful for any and all suggestions!

I'm on mobile so can't see the link to your full list, but sounds like you like old-school names with a biblical flair.

Loving the suggestions of Iris, Hazel, and Tabitha.

I like Ezekiel but I'm afriad it might be too out there for some people to handle? Also, Miriam is really pretty but it's a little matchy with Abram. (-am)

I can understand your feelings about Ezekiel although it was ranked 198 last year so it's a bit more mainstream than I realized.  Do you like Zeke?  It's generally a nn people either love or hate but it is an option.

I LOVE Zeke. I like it better than Ezekiel, but my husband wasn't big on just Zeke. He says it rhymes with geek and makes him think of an alien.

I like Donovan. Other suggestions Stellan and Orson (simply because I am crushing on them right now). I am no help with girl names at all. I only had one that I liked in the end and that was Jane.
