I just said to my husband, jokingly...."I can't wait until we're pregnant so we can have sex all the time without the worry about getting pregnant!" and he said, in all seriousness..."I don't think we can have sex once you start showing." This pissed me off. He said, it's not because it disgusts him, he just thinks it's weird. I think that is messed up.... What are your thoughts?

funny enough I was the one who didn't want to have sex once I started showing. You'd be surprised how both of your opinions on your body will change as your pregnancy becomes more obvious and a daily reminder of whats going on. Don't be mad at him, he can't possibly know what he will think once he sees his own wife pregnant.

Talk about cart before the horse. A lot of men feel that way, especially before their wives are actually pregnant and they have no idea what to expect.

I think that's a loooong time to go without. lol. When I was pregnant with DS, it didn't slow us down. Definitely took a little more creativity at times but still. You never know how he's going to feel once the situation is actually in front of you.

My friend had sex to get labor started as it was taking a while. She orgasmed and the labor started and it was a blissful birth. So you never know what you will end up doing. It's so sensual.

I hated sex while pregnant...so it wqs few and far between. Hubby thought it was awesome (probably because he was so deprived!)

You never know how you are going to feel until you are in a situation. You can have preliminary thoughts but it means shit until you experience it.

It didn't bother either of us at all. We had just as much sex as we ever did until I was put on bed rest which meant we just resorted to alternative ways of being intimate that didn't involve penetration since that was a big no no.

The only time he was a little leery about having sex was towards the end when he was worried about putting me into early labor. He did tell me he was it was weird in certain positions though.
