Where Are You Hosting Baby Showers At?

I am struggling with venues that can accommodate large showers.

Re: Where Are You Hosting Baby Showers At?

  • My family hosted my shower at a restaurant that had a private room. I've been to showers hosted at people's homes, in restaurants and in halls.
  • Mine will be at a family members home who has enough space to accommodate the guests.

  • The hostess for my shower has a multipurpose room in her condo building reserved for the event
  • I don't think I've ever attended a shower that wasn't at someone's home. But I've never been to one I would consider large, probably 20 people tops at any I have been to.

Eta: that's not true, I went to a large bridal shower that was in a private room at a nice restaurant.

  • Your hostess should be making the proper arrangements. It shouldn't be your concern .

  • I'm hosting my sisters shower at a local country club. The space can hold up to 80 guests.

  • My sisters are deciding where to host my shower back in NC, either my sister's church fellowship hall or a restaurant. My work shower here in KS will be at a restaurant, and my friend shower here will be at my friend's home. My bridal shower was fairly large and hosted by my aunts at my sister's neighborhood community center.

  • I'm not hosting my shower, but my hostesses are having my shower at a family friend's home where lots of events are held. They own a beautiful house and love hosting large (much larger than a shower) events there. They graciously offered to my hostesses to have the shower at their house.
