He went today because he was out of his lipitor and he told her he went off of allopurinol since we are TTC. She asked him how long we were trying and her told her this is our 10th cycle and she asked if I was charting and he told her yes and she told him to throw away my thermometer because it's almost impossible to get an accurate reading on the chart and that we are psyching ourselves out.he was pretty surprised, as was I. She did ask him if I have talked to the ob/gyn and he said yes and she said that she will let them order any testing for his sperm. I was never too keen on her, but she really bugs me.

Last spring I had a pretty nasty sinus infection so I had to go into the doc to get some antibiotics. I hadn't gone to the dude in like 3 years, so I updated him to tell him I was no longer on the pill. He was horrified when I responded "No" to the question "are you using condoms". I explained to him that I was charting to avoid, and he freaked out, saying I needed to come in immediately for b/w since I would likely be pregnant within a few months. I believe the actual quote was "You fail to cross a T and dot an I and you will be pregnant". I finally had to pull the "Im Catholic, we don't believe in bc" card to get him to shuttt uppp.
Drs are just as succeptible to douchebaggery as anyone else. For some, if teach it in med school, they don't t believe it. What a tool.
