can't get out!

So LO was sick this week (Hand, foot & mouth) so we stayed home. DH returned to work on Friday, and came home sick so we've been once again, at home. Luckily family did the grocherie shopping that needed to be done since we were not sure if I'd be next, and LO would be too much for Daddy when he's not his normal self.

Thought LO and I might be able to get out today to return some items I bought online at Gymboree ... nope. LO needed a nap. So here I am. She's sleeping next to me very contently. Clothing to return is in the hall. At least I brushed my hair.

I hope everyone feels better soon and you don't get sick! Also, I hope you get to do something fun this week to makeup for being stuck at home.  I feel like this winter is never ending and has been full of colds/illnesses.

My LO had hand, foot mad mouth a few months ago. I feel for you. It was awful! I hope you all feel better soon!

We endesd up being able to get out. She woke up when I got up to go to the bathroom (having her Dad next to her just isn't the same as Mom) and then looked like she may fall back aslwep, however DH brought lunch in for me & the perked her right up.

We ended up making it out! Just later than anticipated. Agree @Jackiemxoxo I looked at my absences for this school year. Zero for the Fall semester & have just about used up this year's 10 days since Jan (start of Spring semester). If either of us are sick again, I'll be using the few I had kept in the reserve bank after last year's maternity leave & baby bonding. Miss having a balance of over 70 days saved ... was always reassuring. Can work on savung them up again once LO is older.

@bloomraiser I still had tags attached & my reciept. Took forever for their computer to pull up my online order. And this waa after waiting in a 4 person long line. Funny you mention shrinkage - bought t-shirts in next size up because barely saw any difference in size however when I mentioned potential shrinkage, the sales person said that was a misconception because their items are pre-shrunk. I chuckled and bought the slightly longer tops. Afterwards went to Crazy 8 and they had better prices on tshirts ($6 vs. 25% off coupon from $10.99 ... am debating returning the 2 Gymboree shirts & buying 3 from Crazy 8)
