I'm reading through the "birth control" thread, and seeing how so many of you are talking about when you'll try for another.

Now, I have 3 kids, and we really need to be done for many reasons.
But thinking that this is my last baby makes me so sad!
There has got to be something wrong that after 3, I still don't feel the "I am so done" feeling that so many other people talk about having.
Please tell me I'm not the only one that is having very bittersweet feelings about closing up the shop.

I feel the same. I snuggle DD and think about having another... Apparently I forget nine months of puking and wishing for death really quickly.

Baby snuggles are dangerous.

I don't think you're crazy. I think whenever we decide we're done, it will be a tough decision and I'll be sad about it, even if I'm sure it's the right decision. We decided to reevaluate our family size in a couple years.

Your not nuts and if you are I am to then! After my 3rd I was "done" after my 4th I was "done" and now after my 5th I'm "done". I contemplated getting my tubes tied after 4 and 5 and just never did. DH says NOoooooo more! Which is probably smart considering my PTL and vomit fests BUT @RondackHiker‌ is right! Baby snuggles are hella dangerous!

I'm a FTM but I'm already forgetting how much I hated being pregnant... and nauseas and the progesterone suppositories and the contractions for 84 weeks...

This. I am the oldest of 5, and always pictured myself having 2-3 kids. DH says 1 is enough. In order to get this one here, we suffered a 2nd tri loss, secondary infertility, and then once we finally got pregnant, had to have a cerclage, weekly shots, modified bed rest, extra pills... And then the delivery went so quick-my doctor wants me to get my tubes tied. We (DH and I) haven't decided if we will try again or not. And that makes me super sad.
