Dd1 was born at 38 1/2 weeks and I was induced due to pancreatitis! DD2 was born at 39 weeks. I went into labor naturally but had a csection bc she was footling breech!
39w0d vaginal delivery 15 minutes apart
I was to go in for an induction that night at 10pm but contractions started at 6p...so we waited, went in at 10...they said no induction needed, you're on the way...kids were born at 6ish in the morning.
I guess they figured they were getting kicked out anyway...might as well come. :0)
You had twins vaginally?! I thought twins were always an automatic c-section. Learn something new every day.
2 hours into 37 weeks exactly my water broke. Just a slow leak, nothing happened until 7 am and they started pit. 3 1/2 hours of pushing later he was born at 1pm. I had contractions for weeks before I had him and currently having them with this one since 33 weeks. Well see how long he cooks! Good luck!
DS was born at 34 weeks. Labor had started, they tried to stop it, then discovered my placenta was deteriorating so they ended up inducing. I had an epidural and he was a vaginal birth.
42 weeks. And there's no doubt that she was really two weeks late. She is an IVF baby so we really do know the minute conception happened! I was induced too. Still very unhappy about having an induction but I started having bp issues and cholestasis.
DD came at 40w3d. Labor started naturally, ended up delivering via csection. DS1 came at 35w5d. Labor started naturally, he had to be delivered via section. DS2 was a scheduled csection at exactly 37 weeks.
Andrea 7/9/08, Joaquin 4/18/11, boy coming 12/18/13
Forever missed: Gabriel 11/24/09 at 20 weeks
DS was 39 weeks, and DD was at 38 weeks. In both cases my water broke before any contractions. With DS the dr started piton to get things started. Labor stalled and he started talking about C-section. I refused and he gave me 1 hour to progress. DS was born vaginally 45 minutes later. With DD, I used a midwife who waited until contractions started naturally. Once they started, things moved quickly and DD was born within 4 hours.
My babies were born at 35 weeks 4 days. They had been getting monitored frequently for a growth discordance ever since 15 weeks.....simply put, since they were sharing a placenta, a growth difference of more than 20% could be a bad sign. So I went in for my weekly growth scan, they were measured at 25% discordant so the MFM said "We're getting them out today." N was breech and the on-call OB was uncomfortable delivering them vaginally b/c of this (even though L was vertex, bigger, and closest to the cervix....some docs will attempt a vaginal twin delivery a case like that) so they scheduled a C-section for 6 hours after I had eaten last. My thought was that, even if the docs hadn't decided to do the C/S that day, I probably would have gone into labor soon on my own....I was feeling different that day w/ low back pain and menstrual-like cramps.
Induced at 38w4d. I'd been monitored for high BP and Owen did poorly on his NST and BPP that day so we went downstairs to have a baby. He was born the next morning.
Ds1 2 days early, water broke. Ds2 a few days late and had my membranes stripped baby arrived that evening. Dd1 5 days early went into labor about an hr after my doctor appt. and a cervical exam.
I know I don't really count but Hadley's b-mom had zero idea how pregnant she was so I have no idea how old Hadley was when she was born, she weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces so she was likely full term. She went into labor naturally.
I know she was a crappy bio-mom but how did she just not know. She had to have known when she had her period, when she had sex, how long did she wait till she tested....
I also don't understand maury when women need to test 10 men to find the father. they are 100% sure that he is the man, can't they do math, do they really need to test that many men that you had sex with in that week? (I am still know to watch though)

I have a friend that had twins vaginally That's not an automatic c-section, it depends on how they are laying. Your chances are lots higher, though. Also- they delivered her in the OR room in case the second twin flipped after first was born.

This
Just depends on a lot of factors including your provider. Some won't attempt it under any circumstances, some will only do it if both twins are head down, some will do it provided baby A is head down, etc. A lot goes into it. The lady I used to nanny for had her twins med-free. I also have a friend who attempted a vaginal birth, ended up delivering one vaginally and the other wouldn't come so the second was a c-section.
