Hi! I had my baby and I'm a MOOB now! Here's the whole story:
Friday, 3/7, my water broke at 4:30 in the morning. After calling the Dr. we waited a bit then went in. Labor had not yet started, so they started me on a Pitocin drip. I held strong until about 3:00 in the morning when the drip was at 30 mL, contractions were very strong and 2 min apart, but I was only at a 6! I asked for an epi and things were better for the next 4 cm! I still had not had a wink of sleep when it was time to push at 7 am. We turned off the epi and I pushed for three hours. Throughout the entire ordeal, my H was a wonderful support person and helped me to stay strong and continue on! The baby was stuck, but had descended quite a bit. Since it had been about 28 hours since my water broke and the baby was not descending any more, the decision was made to do a c-section.
Ryland Brees C. was born at 11:06 am on March 8th. He weighed 7 lbs, 6 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. I was 38 weeks exactly! We are all doing well and love being parents!
