4MW is worse than growth spurts

This 4 month wakeful is horrible. DS was eating every 2-3 hours, cluster feed 5-8 then slept 8 hours. Now it is hard to get him to eat during the day, he fights sleep, and he wakes every two hours at night to eat. At least with growth spurt it was easily treatable: leave him on the boob, he was happy.
I need all the coffee today.

It sucks! I want this over ASAP... Between 4MW and DSs 4 year old night terrors, I need to mainline coffee this week!

DS has 1 week until he hits 4 months. He's been a turd this whole week. I'm afraid it will just continue with the 4mw coming up and not get any better.

I hear ya. We had 3 days of that last week and it was awful. Last night was a little better so maybe we're moving past it. A girl can dream right?

I don't know WTF we're going through, but it's hell.  I've explained to my darling child that she's slowly killing her parents but she doesn't seem to care.

LO woke every 20 minutes for 3 hours the other night. Refuses to sleep during the day, and is being such a fussy eater. She turns 4 months next week. Sigh. I hope it doesn't last long!

I was thinking the same! LO is already (still) eating every 2 hours. Sometimes I get a stretch of 4 at night but then it's every 2 again. So, business as usual?

I lol-ed the OP's 4MW. That sounds like a good day to me and 8 hrs at night would be a dream. 

ETA-I am sofuckingtired I read the post wrong. I take my lol back and you have my sorries for being up every 2 hrs.

I am in the same boat! Waking every 2 hours after a stretch of 4 (sometimes) is what I'm used to. What is this STTN business people speak of? LOL.

Right there with you! DS is 4.5 months old and I'm still going through the 4MW. Thankfully he goes to sleep easily at 10pm and wakes at 3am. But 3am to 9am he's awake!!! Ugh! I can't get anything done. I hope it doesn't last long! Good luck ladies!
