QOTW: What are you watching on TV?

Does Korean TV count? I am watching this completely cheesy and makjang daily soap on Youtube called Melody of Love during my lunch break at work. On the weekends I catch up on Gamgyuk Shidae aka Inspiring Generation (another Korean Drama), Parenthood (love that show) and The Amazing Race on Sundays. At home during the week I watch whatever is on HGTV.

@jessimi06 - DH and I actually have our IVF discussion with our RE on April 10th, as we only plan to do 3 IUIs before moving on to IVF. We have been assured that our diagnosis warrants it. So I could take over the check in until the end of April. That is likely when I'll be starting IVF Prep as well.

As for this current cycle, we are entering the action phase. I have my CD9 BW and U/S tomorrow morning. Go to pick up my meds after that. Will likely be doing IUI on Monday or Tuesday next week!

@Rumbera28 I know when things don't go as you'd planned it becomes hard to stay optimistic. But as long as your H's SA is fine, I don't think doing 1 IUI will hurt you. I asked my RE about doubling up on my DHs sample due to his MFI, but he said it would not really increase our chances. So I hope this cycle works out for you!!

For all you ladies who need it, here is a (((((HUG))))). And I cannot wait to start seeing some March BFPs!!!

@Rumbera28 - I'm sorry things didn't quite go as planned, but hopefully the 1 IUI is all you need, good luck!

AFM, I'm 8dpo after doing B2B IUIs, #3.  I had 5 mature follies and H's post wash numbers were great as always.  I think there was a little concern about mild OHSS this time, I was given dostinex to make my ovaries chill out!  Beta is next Wed, the 19th, but I will likely not hold out that long - maybe I'll test Monday and pray that I get some luck of the Irish!

Well I was scheduled for u/s tomorrow on day 12 after this round of ferama. Day 10 I was feeling crampy and took OPK and got 'high" so went in for u/s that day. They found a 27mm follie! They are confident its not a cyst or left over from last cycle. So went in for iui #2 today. DHs count was ok~not great and motility is still low at 25%. Hoping this is successful. Im going to try not to stress (yeah right) if its a BFN I will be taking a break next cycle as we are traveling. Best of luck everyone!

I am waiting on AF to get here hopefully any day so I can get started on IUI #4 which I'm so nervous about because it's our last before possibly moving to IVF.

QOTW: I recently started watching Parenthood on Netflix which is really good. Just finished The Bachelor (finally! Really disliked this one lol), and I watch SVU on Wednesdays.

My ultrasound to check my follies is on Monday (St. Patrick's day) and my IUI should be on Wednesday 3/19 if everything goes good. I am crossing my fingers that IUI#3 is successful because we have decided that this is our last IUI for a while.

QOTW: I watch a lot of tv, but right now my favorites are Revolution, Intelligence, and the Following.

I'm 7dop after IUI#1. I'm considering my trigger gone as I only had a tiny wisp of a line this morning. Now the question is if I can hold out until Sunday or Monday to test again

I'm in the 2WW of IUI#3 (3dpiui). I had 4 follies >20, two on each side, and the hubs had really great numbers but I'm taking things day by day. My beta is 4/26 which seems soooo far away, I mean it will almost be April by then! I will probably POAS 14dpiuii but we'll see how I feel when we get there. Hugs to all the ladies who need them! QOTW: Parks and Recreation, Hannibal, and Fashion Police!

We got a BFN on the 4th IUI. We had a sit down with our doctor on Tuesday and I'm about 99.9% sure we're moving on to IVF. We just have to wait until May to start on BCP so we can jump on board for the June round.

CD 6 IUI#2 anticipated 3/21 so beta # 1 would be 4/4. Fingers crossed for good follie check 3/19.
Same cocktail of Femara+ Menopur which has produced some good follies the last 2 months.

I start stimming for my first injects + IUI cycle tomorrow! This will be IUI #4, insurance requires 3 injects cycles before approving ivf so I'm just trucking along! QOTW: revenge, the new one Resurrection was great last week, greys, the following and parenthood. I watch a bazillion other shows to keep occupied when I work (assembling wedding inviations) so I won't list them all, these are just my favorites!

IUI #3 was a fail ( Ultrasound for follicle check our 4th IUI (and maybe final for a while) will be Wednesday. I REALLY thought the 3rd IUI was "it" Of course, AF came 3 days late...and on the same day I had to go to a baby shower. FML. I'm currently watching big bang theory.

CD 19 for me.  Finally starting seeing bloodwork #'s increasing so fingers crossed the follies start growing.  Go tomorrow for another monitoring

Went in for my follie scan yesterday, and I had 4 follies all around 10mm, so I go in tomorrow for another follie check and IUI #4 sometime next week. My lining was already at 9.2mm on CD11, so I was super excited about that! DH and I like our new RE a lot!

QOTW: WOW, Dh and I watch everything!!! I love CW shows, True Blood, New Girl, Walking dead and we're currently watching every season of Breaking Bad!

I am one week into the 2WW.  I get through the first week ok and then I obsess over everything the second week.    

My husband and I just finished watching Veronica Mars and are going to see the movie tonight!  Can't wait!

2) We are on IUI#1

3)  beta is set for the 24th. 

QOTW: Originals, Vampire Diaries, Reign, Criminal Minds.   We don't get a lot of channels as DH has the cheapest option for Dish...Want to go see the sequel to 300 though.

IUI #7 was a BFN! Now that my DH has been on meds for over 3 months, we are going to try a couple more to see if the meds have helped enough.
I just finished a Clomid for IUI #8. I go in for my follie scan on Monday 3/17 and likely IUI on Wednesday 3/19. I guess that would have me testing on 4/2.

QOTW: Revenge and Modern Family are my favorites!

Just started my first medicated cycle for IUI #1, so I thought I would start posting here!

Ultrasound on CD 3 looked great, started 100mg Clomid CD3-7. Today is CD10 so I just started my OPKs, I am thinking I should have the IUI this week, I usually ovulate around CD 14. So we are currently just waiting for a positive OPK.

Today is 11dpo (13dpt, 12&11dpiui) I go in for beta tomorrow. I haven't tested. I only tested out my trigger and that was gone by 6 days past trigger. It may have been gone by 5dpt since I forgot to test that day (I had to pee realllllly bad in the morning and remembered the second I was done peeing LOL).

I'm pretty much assuming it's a BFN since DH's numbers were not great. I don't really have any symptoms. Some breast soreness and some cramping, but that's normal for me before AF so I don't count it as a symptom. My right armpit has been a little sore all day, and now my left one is starting too as well which is a little weird, and I know Dr. Google say it can be a symptom, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Especially since I don't know what side effects the progesterone suppositories might have on me being the first time using them. I'm still hoping its a good sign though.

What are you watching on TV? Not much lately, extremely busy with F/T and P/T job especially grading a lot of school work for my online teaching position. But I make sure every week my DH and I watch Grey's and Parenthood!

If you would like to be added please answer the following:

We have put ourselves on a break for now, I want to see if DH supplements make any difference with his numbers. Also, I am hoping to drop a couple pounds!

2. Which IUI are you on? Should of been #2 but didn't go through with it.

Hey ladies!!  Sorry for the late check-in.  I was benched for 3 weeks, so I haven't been on the page as often.

katiewest -- I know exactly how you feel.  I am unexplained as well, and IVF will never be covered by my insurance.  IIU's ARE covered, so I feel like I can't justify moving on to something so expensive and uncovered when we don't have a reasoning or guarantee.  \

As far as ME and my check-in, I had my follow-up after 3 weeks of BCP and I got good news and a clearing to move on to our next cycle!  My lining is thinned and ready to move on, and my cysts are gone! woohoo!!

I thought we would be moving on to injects, but RE wants to try his Dexamethasone + Clomid combo one more time.  If this doesn't work we will move on to injects next.  I'm a little disappointed, because I feel like I'll have a better shot with injects, but I can't complain because injects aren't covered on my insurance and regular meds are.  Might as well give it one last shot!

I'm just off the bench this week, so now I get to check back in! Hooray!

I took my dose of Provera last night. Hopefully CD 3 will be this Thursday and I can get re-started. My last injects cycle completely sucked after stimming for 24 days only to have undersized follicles, so this time my RE plans on starting me off on a slightly higher dose. I'm also not running any longer (which was recommended by my RE) so hopefully that helps me respond better to the meds. 

QOTW: We're Netflix users and we just discovered Sherlock! It is so good!

Thanks for the info @snedge.  I was approved for a 50% off inject program...so it will probably only cost me $2-300.  I'm willing to try it 2 or 3 times.  DH and I will not be financially ready to consider IVF for another year, so I'll try about anything short term.  

I stopped responding to Femara and don't respond to Clomid by itself, so I feel like I'm running out of options to keep me regular. :oP

@RunawayLaurel - Happy to see you back!  How did Dr. K start you off?  I started on 100 mg of clomid and tomorow I have 75 mg of bravelle.  

Since you have netflix, check out House of Cards if you haven't already. My hubby and I started watching yesterday and we're hooked.

@snegde My RE said it was 15% chance for injects and IUI, so not very likely. My insurance requires 3 cycles of injects and IUI before approving iVF...so I'm just biding my time and hoping to get lucky

Hi all! Can I join this thread? My third IUI was a big fat bust!! AF still has not come (CD 30) but I am sure she will rear her ugly face at an inappropriate time. 

Taking a break before another IVF round. This time going to a new clinic a few hours away and think we will add CCS or PGD.

I gotta admit, I've hated coming to this check in and updating where we were cause It seemed I NEVER had good news.  Been trying to do IUI #1 for 3 months.  UGH!!  Happy to say, I'm FINALLY in my 2WW.  IUI completed this morning.  YAH!!  Although I'm super excited to be in the 2WW cause I haven't been here since October, the anxiety of waiting quickly found its way back in.  April 2 is my beta.  Seems like that date is so far away.

I am officially out as far as IUI goes this month.  I am going to be ovulating later than normal this month and DH will be out of town.  It isn't really worth freezing his sample because our issue is MFI and you lose around 40% with freezing/thawing.  So we will just be having (not well) TI before he leaves and when he comes back and letting the cards fall were they may. Hey, there's always next month, right?

@CandaceC1020 - first off, I LOVED House of Cards. So addictive. We watched all of season 2 in just a few days. I wonder how many seasons they'll keep it going (are they grooming Jackie Sharp to be the next main character if Underwood ever gets in trouble for all the stuff he's done?). 

I'm on Menopur, starting at 75 IU for the first 5 days or so, depending on response. I start back on injects Friday!
