**SOCIAL GROUPS LAUNCH TODAY - Please come in for rules and additional updates**

**PLEASE LEAVE YOUR FEEDBACK IN THIS ONE POST to make it easier on me to communicate with The Bump**

This was sent to us by Bump Jackie this morning:

"Today we are launching our new community feature, Social Groups! You can create invite-only private groups by clicking the 'create new group' button that is located at the top of our forum pages. Once you've joined or created a social group, you can access your groups on our community homepage and in the right drop down menu.

We are launching the social group feature as a 30 day beta and we'd like to continue to hear your thoughts. To send your feedback directly to us throughout the testing period, email community@thebump.com with the subject line "Groups Feedback."

One thing to note: Social groups will not be moderated by The Bump, but it is expected you follow our Social Groups Rules. Private or not, we urge you not to share any personal information

* I am 100% against this and WILL NOT be participating in any way so please, do not invite me to any of the groups you decide to create.

*I also am not able to Moderate ANYTHING that occurs on those private groups so DO NOT PM me asking for any help regarding those groups as I have no Bump Powers/Authority to edit, delete, or report anything.

I hope you all will ignore them and stay here to discuss anything and everything you want - this board has great variety and I'd love to see it stay that way.

Was anyone for these things? All of the feedback I saw was the same-A unanimous "this is a terrible idea."

Hopefully everyone just ignores them and they'll go away. If we don't use the feature maybe they'll see it was a bad idea.

How do you view the groups on mobile? I'm on my iPhone.

@jf198400 - I have no clue. They are launching today so I assume a link will be visible in time.

Under the reply box, there are 3 links "Attach a file", "home", and the name of the board you're on (this one says Stay at Home Moms). The "social groups" link at the bottom doesn't work when you're on a page for a group.

If you get a notification that someone commented on a thread you started, the link doesn't work. It is very buggy. I suspect the people who made the website knew what a bad idea it is...
