Name suggestions for Beth

I'm looking for girls names that are similar in sound and/or feel to Beth. Not Elizabeth. My husband and I grew up in a town called Elizabeth. My husband loves just Beth but I feel like it would need be a "fuller" name and just call her Beth. Anyway, thoughts and opinions welcome. Thanks.

  • It might be a stretch, but Tabitha?
    Love this suggestion.

I don't love Beth on its own.  I have a nickname as my full name, and I've always hated that. I wish I would have had an option to choose between my short nickname and full version of it.
  • I like the suggestion of Bethany although most Bethany's I know don't go by Beth. I know someone that is just Beth. She likes her name:) I am Beth, but short for Elizabeth, which is actually my mn.... I think it is refreshing to hear it on a baby! My 10 y/o niece is Beth and she is the only one in her school!
  • Bethany (my name), Bethann (one of my nicknames), and Marybeth (a friend's name & she only goes by Beth) are the first names that pop into my head.  I think Beth is nice as a nickname.

  • Like Beth as a name, but yes, it needs a full name.

  • DD's MN is Beth - I like it all on it's own.

  • Elizabeth Illinois? That's not to far from me My DD mn is Beth , named after my sister whose MN is Beth . It can totally be a standalone .
  • My cousin named his daughter Elsabeth. I had never heard it before but just love it, they call her Elsie but Beth could obviously be a NN as well.
