Comfort nursing troubles?

Hi there...
I not finding a lot of information online about comfort nursing and I am hoping to get some advice here.

My LO had a tongue and lip tie release last week (4 weeks old). Since then she has wanted to comfort nurse non-stop. This wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have an oversupply of milk as is. My issue is the LO seems to be getting too much milk from constantly sucking and not really being able to control my milk flow. She is constantly choking and getting mad and sometimes even projectile vomits even with regular breaks to burp. She also will not take a pacifier since the release and usually won't sleep unless she is nursing. (And I know she is getting plenty of milk because she has gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks!)

I feel awful not letting her nurse but I also feel terrible when she is getting sick from all the milk.

Any advice? Should I continue allowing LO to comfort nurse for so long?

I'm no expert, but have you tried different pacifiers?
