Boob abuse!

I swear my kid is deliberately trying to abuse me. Since she has started discovering her hands, she strokes my boobs while she eats. Okay so that is kind of cute (but starts feeling kind of irritable after a bit) but now she has taken to sucking hard on my nipple while simultaneously pushing my boob away with her little fist so her mouth is pulling one way, her hand pushing another and my WORD kiddo you are hurting mom!!!!! Then she cries when I try and restrain her hands so I'm not in pain (which I have to do to get her to latch initially anyway) but I feel like I'm hindering her development but not letting her try out her hands. But dangit it hurts!!! Enough with the abuse kiddo!!!

Mine does the same! I have a nursing necklace but I haven't tried it yet. I wonder if that would help give your LO something to grab? I should try it too! Lol

For the first time a few days ago my son clamped down on my nipple with his gums and pulled away. I was shocked by how badly it hurt. Thankfully it was just that once. I nursed my first son for 15 months and he never once did that/bit me. I hope this lo doesn't start in with it regularly.

My LO does this too! And now she has started grabbing/clenching the skin in my boobs with her tiny hands. It hurts even more!

Yes yes yes to all lol. I am praying she stops eventually...right now it's constant but the the talking and smiling with her mouth full is WAY cuter!

@Danicali‌ A friend today was just telling me about the nursing necklaces today. Right now her hand movements aren't very focused but in a week or so when she is more deliberate & focused on hand movements I may need one!

J has been ravenous lately! I hate to say it but I'm glad the weekend is over. He only gets boob now on the weekends and at night and honestly my boobies hurt after this weekend. I think it maybe the 3 mo gs?

Mine LO does this too. But he also seems to get a little frustrated. He starts kicking and yelling. I thought I was having a supply issue.

@Ltpugs‌ Mine also kicks...and flails...and occasionally whimpers once if she falls asleep. No yelling though, definitely no supply issues (just pumped 8ozs, insane since I usually pump 5-6 in the AM). A friend of mine, whose kid acted similar at my LOs age, described nursing her son as hand-to-hand combat. 100% on the money YES. This too shall pass...(I hope?)...and I pray I can forge through!

DS2 likes to twirl and pull my hair and run his fingers over my chest. Sometimes he will also squeeze which hurts if he has razor blade nails. If he is really tired he flails around and uses his feet to kick off my stomach while still attached to the boob.

Mine punches my boob with one hand while he feeds like a twitch, or he grabs it with both hands and pulls it into his mouth. The other day he was so hungry he just grabbed my boob and shoved it in his mouth and it wasn't the nipple, omg that hurt!
