We were out to eat and when the bill came I wasn't paying attention and she grabbed the pen and drew on her face.  It wasn't to bad thankfully.  She only drew a line on her check, and nose, but it was right by her eye and I feel like a horrible mom. 

And this was right after I was feeling good because I was nursing dd- covered though- and this older lady (maybe in her late 60's/early 70's) who was at the table near us came over as she left and said "I think it's really cool that your nursing.  Way to go!"

I bent down at a restaurant to grab the toy LO dropped and smacked his head on the table. I felt awful and got really embarrassed.

I know I can't keep my baby in a bubble.  I wish.... I more feel bad because she could have easily poked her eye.  Otherwise I might think it's funny.

When LO was only like 6 weeks old on Black Friday we were at the mall and I was holding her like across my body with head on my left arm and I turned around and hit her head on a rack! She screamed out and I felt so horrible i started crying too! Accidents happen.

I have poked DS in the eye more than once trying to get stuff off his face and he turns his head. And H admitted the other night that when DS was 2 months old he got up for a MOTN feeding and was half asleep he didn't realize the door frame was so close and hit LO's head. We make mistakes and it's ok don't blame yourself. I promise their are moms out there doing worse.

How cool of that woman to say something nice to you! I'm glad she didn't hurt herself but don't beat yourself up momma! We have plenty of time for that in the future lol. LO was so overtired and cranky I had to put him the ktan when DH and I went out to lunch today. So I obviously had to eat over him. I spilled ice water on his leg and had a ton of crumbs in his hair. #mommasgottaeat #whyhaventweinventedthatnapkinhatyet ?
