pumping at work ?

today's my 1st day back to work and I just pumped here for the 1st time. I got exactly enough for one of DD's bottles... still feel kind of full but I can not be pumping for that long.

Do you get enough for one bottle or more? How do you sneak away from work to pump in order to get comfortable?

I don't have the uncomfortable feeling (fortunately), but I usually end up waiting until a little after I should really go and pumping during the lunch break.  I used to be able to get enough for 2 feedings when I did this, and then I'd have a shorter pumping session in the afternoon.  I don't know that this is the best thing to do, but that's the routine I've gotten into.

I usually only get one bottle per pump.

I'm lucky to have an office.  I'm actually pumping right now.

I try to pump at 10am, 1pm, and 4 pm.  If I don't set a schedule I get too busy and forget!  I usually get about 8 oz on the 10 am, about 5 oz on the 1pm then only about 3 or so on the 4 pm.  Usually that is just enough to get her through the next day.  It is not fun having to pump at work, its a lot of work!  Good luck to you

I pump about 3 times a day and I get enough to well exceed what the baby is eating and add to the freezer stash. But I am fortunate in that I can take as long as I need to empty (about 10-15 minutes). I work in an office setting so getting away is as easy as taking a bathroom break.

My company is great.  When I got back to work they set me up in a mothers room for 1/2hour every 3 hours I am work.  Currently I pump at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm. It is on my schedual so no one books me for meetings at that time.  I get about a total of 12 to 16 oz.  I had to go on Blessed Thistle to help me with my supply and I have to drink a lot of water but currently I am getting enough.  I do feel guilty about being away from my desk for 1 1/2 hours a day but I keep telling myself it is for my baby.
