What happens when

What happens when someone GBCBs (or simply deactivates their account)?  Do all of their discussions disappear as well? I noticed a thread i had commented on recently was no longer there, and when i checked the OP's profile, she seemed to be nonexistent as well.

    LOL, I'm here (at work)! I don't think they disappear. If they get banned, their posts show up but their avatar turns into a Ghostbusters-no sign. Otherwise, I don't know that there's actually a way to delete your account, is there?
