I have an employment gap of about 3.5 years and I will be applying to jobs and/or a PhD program. I was hoping to get some advice/tips from others who dealt with an employment gap.
How can I update my resume without drawing attention to my time off from work? Any websites with samples?
If it helps, I was a science teacher and I will be applying to anything that can get me a foot in the door at the local university. I will also apply to the PhD program for Curriculum and Instruction.
Any advice for interviews? Clothes? I haven't been job hunting since 2008. Help please
