REPOST: The Official TTTC Book Club ( ALL WELCOME!)

OK Ladies, here is the choice: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.So I was thinking we could work the club in the following ways:1. I will post a weekly "check in" on Thursdays. ?This can be very general, people can ask questions. comments, etc. ?No strict deadlines for these as I know people's lives are busy. ?Also, people can post and comment whenever they feel like it!2. ?End date: January 31st. It is a lengthy book, so ?I think a month would be good.?3. ?When everyone is done, we can each sit in our own living rooms, pour a glass of wine ( or apple juice if you are cycling ?) and we can discuss online!4. ?I don't know if book clubs usually have more direction, but I can certainly come up with focus questions for our discussion if people are into that ( I am an English teacher- lot's of practice at that! ;o) )?***** I WILL START THE CHECK-IN NEXT WEEK AS TO GIVE ENOUGH TIME FOR PEOPLE TO SECURE A BOOK!******************

This is perfect--I just got Outlander for Christmas.  I'm planning to start reading it after I finish the Twilight series (for the 3rd time!).

i think i'm going to skip this month's. outlander is definitely on my list of books i want to read, but my boss just lent me angels and demons and the davinci code so i need to read those and get them back to her.
