Pump, pump pump it up

How many times do you ebf mamas pump during the work day or how often? I've even pumping 4 times a day to build up my supply a little bit aka every 2.5 hours and getting between 3 and 3.5oz. Would it be safe at this point to start pumping 3 times a day or would this affect my supply too much?

It depends on what you need and how much LO takes.

If you drop one, in the beginning you will most likely get more ounces at one time. Over time, it might taper down a bit. It all depends on if you want to take that "risk". If you do and supply tapers, you can always try adding a session back in or supplementing. It's really up to yo hand what you feel comfortable with.

I pump 3x's a day, roughly around the times DD is getting her bottle at DC. I pump for at least 30 mins each time. First pump I get between 5-8oz, 2nd usually 4-5, and 3rd usually 3-4. Today I've been getting a lot less then usual so I'm starting to freak a bit, but hoping it's just some sort of fluke.

For those with kids in daycare, do they give bottles on a schedule? Or do LOs just end up taking a bottle around the same time every day anyway?

DD is in daycare two days a week.  I pump her first bottle of the day at home around 8am, then at work at 11am and 2:30pm.  I usually pump around 16oz on a work day and she only consumes 12.

I used to pump 8 + times a day for 15 oz. Now I pump 3 times a day for the same. It's going down though.

I'm gone at work from 6 am - 5 pm and I pump 3x a day, I haven't had to hit the freezer stash yet. Only been back to work for a month though.

I EP and have been able to get away with 4x a day (twice at work). At the beginning it was more like 6x a day but I've been able to go longer between with no dip in supply. That being said, I'm really careful to take the time to drain both breasts completely which, IMO makes a difference.

I feed him right before I leave for work, 6:15 am, then pump at work 9:30,12:30,3:30. I don't have a great supply so I only get about 10oz total, supplement for anything additional.

I EP and do 6 x a day, 3 of which are at work. Im a teacher so do first thing in the morning before students arrive, lunch, and end of the day. I gradually cut back from 8x a day to 7 and now 6 and didn't have a drop.
