When did/does your LO go to well visit appts?

We just brought our DS for his first DR. visit and now he doesn't go back for 2 months? That seems too far and I swear with DD she went a lot sooner than that! Maybe I am just not remembering right....

After leaving the hospital, we went at 4 days, 2 weeks, and will go again at 2 months.

My DD went the day after getting out of the hospital, at two weeks old, at two months old, at four months, at six months old and won't go again until nine months old.  HTH

I checked out of the hospital early so they wanted to see her at 3 days old, then 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months...

Mine went @ 2wks, 1mo, and 2mos. ?He will go again at 4mos.

My doc does a well visit at 2 weeks, then two months too. She said if the baby is acting healthy there is no need to bring them in sooner. Plus in cold & flu season, the less time spent in that office the better.

My DS only had an appt at 4 days, then another 2 weeks later (they did that for 1st time moms), then 2 months, and so on. It seemed like a long time to me too but I have nothing to compare it too! I just call a lot. Yeah, I am THAT mom!

He did say something about it being RSV season, so maybe that is why he doesn't want him coming back in any sooner!

DS#1 saw a nurse at 1 wk and then didn't see the doc until 2 mo.

DS#2 (different doc) was supposed to have well baby visits at 3 days, 2 wks, 1 mo, and 2 mo. Unfortunately we've been dealing with bad jaundice and weight gain problems, so he's been in at 3 days, 5 days, hospitalized day 5-6, doc at 9 days, 19 days, ER at 27 days, doc at 1 mo. and will probably be going in once a week for a few weeks.
