4 month growth spurt?

LO went to the doc today for his 4 month shots and of course they always check height and weight at these appointments. His current height is 26.5 inches!!! How many more growth spurts do they typically have this young? Is there another one at 6 months? I can't remember how many DD had.

Also, does anyone know of onesies that run slimmer without sacrificing length? He is 15.8 lbs.

I think 6 and 9 months are two big ones. No help with the onesies

My son was 14lbs 11 oz and 26 inches long at his 3 month appt. I use the Carter 6 month onsies, they are a little big width wise but better than anything else I have tried. I don't know about the growth spurts, sorry. Good luck!

My DS was 15lbs and 28in at his 2 month check up and was wearing Carter's 6 & 9 month onesies. I find they run long and slim. I'm sure there's plenty more growth spurts to come. They won't stop growing till they are at least 20 years old...........

Mine can fit the 3-6 month carters onesies but he doesn't fill them out yet. I know babies r us onesies run a bit smaller, but they also seem a little shorter. I know they will always keep growing, but I did not know how many BIG growth spurts they are suppose to have in the first year. I would think the carter's for your DS would fit similar to mine, but then again, every baby is proportioned differently. Thanks for the input!
