s/o Sex reveal, would this be ok?

I have two boys and am pregnant with #3
My SILs are hoping I have a girl because they have bags and bags of clothes that their girls have grown out of. and they want to get the bags out of their house.
Now I am not suggesting throwing myself one of those horrid "reveal parties" But would it be ok if I brought pink or blue cupcakes to a family get together that we were going to have anyway? Or is it still tacky?

On a personal note I am kind of feeling like people won't be as excited if I have a boy, which, if it's a boy, makes me want to do this all the more.

WDYT? Bring dester to a family g2g or would a simple phone call suffice?

I think cupcakes at a family get-together is fine. These are the people that you'd tell right away, anyway.

Your idea sounds just fine! Your family would be the first you'd tell anyway, and filled cupcakes are a cute, low-key way to let the cat out of the bag. I'm not a fan of the big parties that make a big to-do about the whole thing.
