Would you want use this??

Me personally, I would not. I'd be worried about them rolling and getting face stuck to the side. I see this as more dangerous then the bumpers on cribs

Sure, but it looks more like a place for naps when you have your eye on them.  

Then again, both my boys have bumpers.

no panties in a bunch, just a little side eye, as I'm not sure how that's safe. but then again, I did use a bassinet, but it had a lock on it so it wouldn't swing unless I wanted it too.

It swings so same reasons people use swing or rock n play.

oh I didn't even think about the swinging, but my child didn't care for his swing

as long as sturdy I would use it.

Z slept in a basinet right next to me for 5 months. I would have loved the swaying feature!

The real danger is that belly cast falling on the baby from that top shelf. Just say no to belly casts.

My SIL has a friend who had one.  She said her baby did not sleep well in it because every time the baby startled it would sway and wake the baby up.

I saw something like this a while ago but it was more like an actual bassinet that was hanging. I thought it was pretty sweet.

It is NMS, but I see nothing wrong with it.
