Bouncer time?

LO is 9 days old and yesterday DH bought him a bouncer on the way home from work. LO loves it, and DH loves it even more as he can put baby in it and get on with what he needs to do.
I so happy that he likes it, I feel like maybe an hour at a time, but get the impression DH will leave him in it most of the day (except feed and changes) when I go back to work and I'm not sure about that.
My question is how long do you all leave your LOs in their bouncers at a time?

It's a fine tool to have and use, but like anything common sense needs to apply.

Bouncers are meant for things like making dinner, switching laundry, taking a shower, not leaving him in it all day long.

Thanks. We have the mamaroo and it is almost fully reclined right now so his head is fine or I wouldn't let him sit in it. I wasn't going to buy one either but DH thought he would like it. I only put him in it for about 10 mins at a time, it helps with his hiccups and soothes him before bed. Will talk to DH again tonight. Thanks again!

Thanks @sing2phins I meant swing I guess. Still getting used to all the words plus I'm not from the US but I live here so I think some words are different! Will still not leave him in it too long
