Although I have known this would happen since our dating ultrasound it doesn't make it less terrifying. Today I had a repeat ultrasound on the giant cyst we affectionately call Spock,it has gotten a little smaller it has went from 19cmx15cmx8cm to 16cmx13cmx8cm. The fact it has gotten smaller and is full of clear fluid makes it more unlikely that it is not cancerous. He also now suspects it is coming off my Fallopian tube unfortunately if that's the case I will loose that tube and ovary I have no choice about this surgery as it will become life threatening if/when it ruptures later in the pregnancy.
Silver lining: The baby and the cyst are neighbors so we saw the baby again today!! It measured 6days ahead at 13.5weeks and HB was 160. If they change my due date that puts me in August but they didn't mention it so I will stay here. The surgery carries a 1-2% risk to the baby so extremely low but I still am freaked out and worriesd t&p are appreciated, Thanks ladies
I should have said it makes it more *likely* that it is not cancer which is a very good thing of course. I swear I am not completely illiterate (Noah used my phone from the Ark, I'm sure)
Thanks guys for the thoughts and prayers. I am really looking forward to this being over with.
I know surgery is scary but I had a cyst rupture my tube last year unfortunately I was pregnant with my angel and it turned out my baby was growing outside my uterus. So I did loose my baby but not because of the surgery. Surgery will suck. It will hurt a lot! A heating pad will help some but as long as you have great support system to help out around the house you will be up and back to your old self before you know it. Send many thoughts and prayers you have a smooth surgery with no complications and easy recovery.
Good luck with the eviction of Spock! Any growth removal is so scary (I had my scare in 2012 with a tumor that went buck wild ). I lost an ovary too - but hey I'm pregnant now ( with infertility + PCOS) total surprise since we weren't trying.... so you can get by just fine with only 1 ovary
I'll KMFX for you + the surgery and the baby.

Cyst was removed today, all is well I am so sore though. The cyst was actually a lot larger than he thought it was the size of a volleyball and contained 3000ml of fluid that equal to 3liters!! It also came off my left ovary instead it was so large that it wasn't possible to tell until I was opened up. I lost that ovary and tube but the baby is fine and moving everywhere I keep thinking how happy it must be to have room now lol thank you all so much for the thoughts and prayers I really and truly appreciate it!!
Volleyball! Holy cow, I'm so glad the surgery went reasonably well and that LO is okay. You are an incredible Momma. Good luck with an easy as possible recovery!
Wow I am so glad that everything went well! That is a huge cyst, glad they were able to remove it. And, more than anything, very very glad to hear that baby is doing well! T&P for a fast, easy recovery for you!!
Wow , thats a big cyst. Im glad you are over that and that the baby was doing well through it! You are right Im sure your LO is going to be happy to have a little bit extra room now
