Are you able to still wear your rings?

I am only 13 weeks along and noticed last night when I took my rings off that I had some swelling. Nothing crazy but enough to notice. I have gained about 10 lbs at this point and didn't think this would happen so quick. Pretty sure I wore them longer in my first pregnancy. Wondering if I have been having too much salt. Did you have to take your rings off early too?

I have had to take my rings on and off I think since 9-10 weeks.  Now I am usually just wearing my band, easier to get off if I have to use soap and water. lol  Engagement ring is harder to get off.  THere are times I will not wear them at all.

All depends on the day but I know early on I was very bloated and had the same issues.  I was surprised it happened so early but everyone is different.

Today I have my  band on and i just for the heck of it tried to take it off. Nope, will have to use soap and water later.  LOL

    Your not alone!!!

I have never had swelling in my hands during pregnancy so I've never had to remove them... my feet / legs to get plump as the day goes on though..

Like PP, my hands have stayed normal size so far (I'm around 34.5 weeks now).  It's my ankles that are swollen!

My rings are actually on the loose side right now.  I'm 14 weeks & still down 2 pounds from my starting weight.  I know that once summer hits I will likely be wearing my rings on a necklace though!

I am 36w exactly and still wearing my rings. I check them on daily basis. I haven't and did not get swollen with this pregnancy or my previous one. With DS1 I took my rings off at 37w 5d since they were getting tight my water broke that night.

Both other times I had to take them off fairly early on. I am always afraid I'll get to the point of no return and it will be difficult, so I probably do take them off earlier than I really have to. I have worn them around my neck on a chain and have a slightly bigger "fake" set of rings that I am able to wear the whole time.

My ring (only wear wedding band) is still fine at 30 weeks - loose even some days.  Like many pps  the swelling I'm noticing is in my ankles.  My whole hand seems to have gotten bigger, though - like across the main knuckles.  Not swollen/puffy - just like the joints have spread out or gotten bigger. I noticed last weekend when I was trying to wash out some mason jars that I've always been able to fit my hand inside (especially w/ dishwashing gloves and soapy water) and I've tried a couple other times since then, at different times of day, and still my hand won't fit.  ???  Oh well.

At 27 weeks, they've been relegated to being worn around my neck on my necklace.

I took my rings off early, like around 14 weeks... I'm a little claustrophobic and the thought of them getting stuck on my hand was really distracting me. My water retention fluctuates day to day... I could probably still wear them on some days and I am 27 weeks. If I think I am extra puffy, I make sure I am getting enough water and exercise and watch my salt intake.

It is still very early for me...   so I am fine.  Last time, I think I had to shift some rings around in the 3rd tri.

I am guessing when the summer hits I will be moving things around again.

As an update, 4 weeks later I am still wearing both rings. I have had a few days where they felt tight or I just wore my band but I am thinking that my fluids must fluctuate. Hopefully I can wear them a little longer.
