upper lip tie?

I just noticed maybe about a month ago that my DS looks like he has an upper lip tie. Has any other mothers dealt with this? He is EBF and has no problems nursing. I am just wondering if we would have to get this fixed or will it resolve on its own? Will it cause any problems in the long run?
