"9:35 Lie on floor as baby crawls over my inert body. Absentmindedly wonder if there is more to it than this -- if maybe other people have some sort of routine that seems less stupid and boring and pointless. Wonder if there is some big thing I should be doing to help the baby's development that I am not doing"
this makes me SO happy. this is why I heart TB, because of reassurance like this!
11:00: Put baby down for nap. 11:01: Don't move or breathe until Im sure baby is down for nap 11:10: Attempt to get something done 11:20: abandon productiveness bc baby wakes from "nap"
Hahahah wow, surprising how this list is pretty accurate. I would love to write my day out and see what it looks like. I know yesterday would be 9AM: start preparing crockpot meal ....10:43 AM: crockpot meal is finally in crockpot. In between would be cheering up baby, changing poopslosive diapers, nursing and battling teething troubles. My day would also include 2 hour blocks of immobility because a delicate sleeping baby is snoozing in the crook of my arm.
Yeah, with the 4mw there has been a lot of one handed bumping going on here too since he won't really let me put him down for naps anymore. The worst is when I realize I forgot my phone in the kitchen right as he falls asleep on me.
