Junior Chair - Ikea

Does anyone have the junior chair from Ikea, either for their J12 toddler or for an older child? Are they too young for this? It says 3 years and up, but I'm not sure why Tumaini wouldn't be able to use it now, she's good at climbing and I'm fairly certain she'd stay seated at meal times.

Our table only has two chairs, and a bench, but we like to keep the bench under the table and the table against the wall, except when we have guests, so a booster seat wouldn't work very well, unless we were willing to sacrifice a few feet of kitchen space, and we're not...
