Has anyone taken LO to any baby and me classes or activities? I'm thinking of trying out a yoga class and also a baby class at My Gym. LO is 12 weeks and the classes are age appropriate. It can be hard to predict her mood or if she will spit up all over the place. Just wondering if you have been, was it a success and how did you handle baby if they were fussy?
I say take the baby anywhere you want. But if it were me I wouldn't pay for any classes thinking the baby will get something out of it. Make sure you want to do it for you and the baby just tags along.
If the baby gets fussy handle it the way you would if you were out anywhere else. Go to the car to feed, bathroom to change, or leave if you have to (another reason why I wouldn't pay lol)

I take DS to baby yoga sometimes. It's pretty much chaos: some babies are sleeping, some are eating, some are crying and some are actually doing yoga. So it's not really a big deal.

Also taking him to a reading of Mother Goose on Friday, starting Music Together next month, and planning on attending all the children's concerts in the park this summer.
I took LO to baby story time at the library which was nice. I love Gymboree but i think it is best when they are 3.5/4 months and older. or else they dont get much from it.
I've done story time at the library only. A friend from work has a 6 month old she just started taking to a Baby & Me boot camp where your weights are your baby. I'd like to do this when LO is a bit older. I'll also be doing infant swim lessons.
I haven't tried any classes yet but I've heard good things about My Gym so I'll probably start that in the next month or so. Also, to meet other moms since I don't really know any in my area.
The only class the local My Gym offers for children LO's age is at 8 am on Monday mornings. He's usually sleeping then. Has anyone done swim classes with LO? Thinking of doing that instead since I love swimming.
I do a mommy and baby yoga class and a cardio class. Basically it's new moms doing normal classes with baby in tow, but you don't need to worry if you need to nurse or change them or anything. They're good workouts and a way for me to meet other moms in my area
