Right in the eye!?!

Feeding LO and we attempted to re latch and boom! Sprayed right in the eye! EWWW. I normally don't spray due to my low supply issues so I was completely unprepared.

Anyone else have funny bfeeding stories? As hard as this BFing stuff is I need a little laugh from time to time.

This isn't about bf C, but it's bf related. We were over at our neighbor'a house the day after we brought C home from the hospital and my neighbor (a lactation consultant for WIC) brought me all these goodies from work; one of which was a manual breast pump. Her son, about 8, said "I know what that is! It's a horn for waking up the baby in the morning!" We about fell over laughing. So cute.

I spray him all the time! I've gotten it in his eyes, up his nose, in his ears. Of course, he lets go all the time, so it's not like it's a big surprise. I think the funniest one was when I was feeding him in bed next to my husband. LO let go and then nuzzled my nipple, and he managed to spray my husband right in the face!

I stopped bf'ing a few weeks ago, but I have a funny story about when I did. I was up in the middle of the night feeding DS, he came off for a few seconds and I noticed something thin and white coming off my nipple. Thinking it was a piece of dog hair I tried to take it off and for some reason It wouldn't go away, little did I know it was a stream of milk spraying out. Poor DS was getting sprayed in the face that whole time. The lack of sleep must have been getting to me haha

I was at work and pulled down my bra to start pumping and waterfalls all over my desk... No one saw that, but then I walked out of my office with my top pulled down and didn't notice until I got to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

I'm not sure I think my nipple just like to go crazy sometimes :-S
