Pump speed

Does anyone pump on the fast speed all the time by pushing the letdown button repeatedly? (I use a Pisa) anyways it seems more effective and less painful so I have been doing that more this time( on 2nd child). Just wondering if there is any downfall to this or a negative aspect why a person shouldn't? Thoughts?
