Emilia is the original spelling. Not a unique spelling at all.

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback!  We already have an Emily in the family on my side, so it's not an option for us.  I do worry about having to explain that it's Emilia with an 'E' and not Amelia with an 'A' but our other top pick is Madeline and people are going to have spelling & pronunciation questions with that name, too.
